I want to share an exercise to help prepare your body for twisting movements. Games such as golf, tennis and baseball all involve rotation and if your body is not ready and prepared these twisting movements can cause injury.
Let me show you how to do a high to low twist and prepare your muscles for your best game ever!
- Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart. - Place your arms up overhead and turn your hips slightly to the right. - As you lower your arms over toward the outside of your left knee, be sure to pivot the feet so that your movement is smooth and controlled. - Now return to the starting position and repeat. - Don't rely on momentum - be sure to control your movements throughout the entire move.
